Enhanced shopping experience through AR

As a lactose intolerant person, looking at labels consumes a large part of my grocery shopping trips. Generally, going through a wide selection of goods that fit our preferences takes too much time. That's why I came up and designed a concept of an AR app that helps people shop for groceries.

Upon entering your preferences, user can simply aim at the shelf of groceries you want to buy and the app will show you choices that suit your criteria, that you can also easily compare. Voilà! Now we can use the time spent looking at labels in more meaningful ways, like cooking with friends :)

Enter your set of preferences of nutritions that are decisive for you.

Results will be filtered according to your criteria.

02 Scan results fast

Simply aim your smartphone on the shelf with the groceries you want to buy, and AR will show you choices that suit your criteria.

03 Easy to compare

You can easily compare the products that match your preferences and choose the one you like the most. You can compare other nutrition facts and price as well.

Augmented reality haven't reached its full potential yet, but besides an entertainment it can also help to make our lives easier and shorten time of activities that we perform on a daily basis. I'm excited to perhaps one day have an opportunity to work on a real life AR project and to see what impact it will have on lives of a wide audience.
